Flavored Waters

 

I just started making waters flavored with antioxidant rich ingredients, fresh turmeric and ginger and another water with goji berries, the number one herb in Chinese medicine. These waters are a great way to stay hydrated while replacing important nutrients. Experiment with your own flavored waters.

Ginger Turmeric Tonic Water

4 cups filtered or spring water
1/3 cup fresh lemon juice 
1 inch fresh ginger, scrubbed
1-inch fresh turmeric, scrubbed or 1 teaspoon powdered turmeric
1 pinch pink crystal salt or solar dried salt
cayenne, to taste
In a blender, put all the ingredients and blend completely.

Put a large mesh food strainer over a bowl, pour in the blended water mixture and strain pressing out all the water. Pour the strained water into a wine bottle or other glass container. Enjoy!

Store in a glass jar in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.

Goji Berry Orange Water

4 cups filtered or spring water

2 tablespoons goji berries

1 orange, juice only

1 pinch pink crystal salt or solar dried sea salt

In a blender, put all the ingredients and blend completely.

Put a large mesh food strainer over a bowl, pour in the blended goji berry water and strain pressing out all the water. Pour the strained water into a wine bottle or other glass container. Slowly sip throughout the day.

How to Store: Store in a glass jar in the refrigerator for 1 days.
